Sucrose Tetraisostearate. Crodesta™ 4-IS by Croda acts as a humectant, emulsion stabilizer, rheology/viscosity modifier and spreading agent. It is a liquid-type hygroscopic sucrose ester of fatty acid derived from sucrose and isostearic acids. It offers anti-redness, moisturizing, nourishing, hydrating, calming and soothing properties. Crodesta™ 4-IS is used in sun protection, eye-, face- & lip color formulations. It is also used in body-, face-, neck/skin- and eye contour care products.
