DipalMitoyl hydroxyproline (DPHP)

Dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline (DPHP) by Creative BioMart is a moisturizing agent. It is a natural product of palmityl and amino acid, hydroxyproline. It contains fatty groups which effectively improve the affinity of the skin to hydroxyproline. It is released in response to lipase when enters in the skin. It stimulates collagen rearrangement and shrinks collagen fibers. DipalMitoyl hydroxyproline (DPHP) also protects elastin from enzyme damage and inhibits its activity more strongly as compared to vitamin C.
