It also acts as a healing agent, antioxidant, whitening agent and anti-aging agent. It is a composite originated from natural sphingosine and vitamin-c. It imparts barrier recovery effects and wound healing effects. It is involved in inhibition of free fatty acid and prevention of skin discoloration. SP-VC finds application in formulating anti-acne preparations, whitening preparations and anti-aging preparations.
