
Lactococcus Ferment Lysate. ProRenew Complex CLR™ by CLR Berlin is a non-toxic, harmless ingredient that acts as a regenerating, restructuring, anti-aging and anti-stress agent. It is obtained from a lysate of the gram-positive bacterial species lactococcus lactis, which is fermented under special conditions of catabolic repression.
- The biotechnologically obtained suspension contains fragments such as DNA, metabolites, cytoplasmic compounds and cell wall materials in a moderate acidic, aqueous medium.
- ProRenew Complex CLR™ is a non-irritant grade and stimulates skin's renewal processes and accelerates the recovery of skins barrier function, regardless of type of impairment (environmental stress, aging).
- It balances and protects the skin microbiota and supports it in dealing with day-to-day stress.
- It also improves the condition of the scalp and makes it less oily. It additionally leads to perceivable reduction of the sensitivity of the scalp, makes scalp tangibly healthier and reduces attributes related to dryness of the scalp. Suitable for rinse-off formulations.
- It improves keratinocyte cohesion, increases the production of antimicrobial peptides, activates skin’s natural desquamation and ensures active skin resurfacing.
- It has very good skin compatibility and no allergenic potential (supporting hypoallergenic claims). It is miscible with water and water-alcohol mixtures containing a maximum alcohol concentration of 50% w/w, but yields no clear solutions.
- Used in skin care emulsions but also in gel-type type formulations or serums, which are stabilized with suitable hydrocolloids or polymers.
- The shelf life of the product is 1 year.
