Oleth-5. Emulsogen® LP by Clariant acts as a non-ionic and cold process emulsifier and solubilizer. It shows excellent emulsification, high hard water tolerance, very low foaming tendency, easy foam control and lime soap dispersing properties. It can also be used as an anti-wear additive to improve lubricity because of its good solubility in most kinds of mineral and vegetable oils. It is compatible with anionic formulation components. Emulsogen® LP is applicable in emulsions (cold process), baths oils, hair colour developer emulsions, hair treatment rinses, hair gels- and color creams.
