HYDAMER™ DCMF

Chitosan. HYDAMER™ DCMF by Chitinor (Seagarden) is an antimicrobial marine deodorizing agent. It is derived from marine shrimp shells through partial deacetylation of chitin. It provides anti-microbial effectiveness and excellent skincare properties. It prevents excessive generation of odor forming substances. Moreover, it is free from preservatives, antioxidants and solvents. It provides long-lasting, all-day protection while imparting a feeling of freshness and cleanliness. It prevents bacterial growth. It has an anti-microbial effect, while the effect is enhanced due to its ability to promote perfume adhesion and masks any odor production through prolonged fragrance retention. It is extremely skin compatible and mild, reduces skin irritation and improves sensory parameters to promote a pleasant skin sensation. It is compatible with alcohol (<60%), other polymers, propellants, salts, amphoteric, non-ionic and cationic surfactants. HYDAMER™ DCMF finds application in formulating emulsions, fluids, tonics, deodorants, pump sprays, pump-action spray, roll-ons, refreshers and skincare products.
