CI 77491 (and) Mica (and) Triethoxycaprylylsilane. IOR-OTS by CHEMLAND is a triethoxycaprylylsilane coated powder. It makes rough feeling of a powder smooth. It is ethyl functionalized silicone oil that can be coated to inorganic powders at relatively lower concentrations. It is not easily removed by sweat and sebum. It can be dispersed in silicone oils such as cyclomethicones and ester oils. It exhibits water repellency, light and silky feeling. It is widely used in formulation of powder and emulsification. IOR-OTS is used in cosmetic care applications.
