CALSIL™ CV02

Supplied byCaldic- Last Updated on Aug 5, 2021

Dimethicone. CALSIL™ CV02 by Caldic acts as a film former, antiperspirant, wetting agent and aesthetic enhancer. It is a low molecular weight volatile polydimethylsiloxane fluid with a viscosity of 2.0 cSt (Dodecamethylpentasiloxane). It is odorless, colorless, non-staining, non-occlusive and non-irritating. It has good volatility and very low surface tension. Provides excellent spreading, non-greasy feel, fast evaporation with no residue and lubricity. CALSIL™ CV02 also provides smooth deposition of actives, pigments or sun-screen additives while its volatility and non-oily finish leaves a silky and soft skin. Improves combing and detangling of wet hair with a quick drying. It shows compatibility with silicone oils, phenyl trimethicone, aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated solvents, isopropyle myristate, ethylhexyl salicylate and weak compatibility with mineral oils, organic oils and ethanol. Used in face, body, skin care, make-up products, sun care, conditioners and hair sprays as well as in antiperspirants, deodorants, wipes and other hygiene products.
