CALSIL™ CL100

Dimethicone. CALSIL™ CL100 by Caldic acts as a film former, repairing-, wetting- and softening agent. It is a non-volatile fluid composed of polydimethylsiloxane. It is odorless, colorless, non-staining, non-occlusive and non-irritating. It has very low surface tension. Provides excellent spreading, non-greasy feel and lubricity. Its fast rub-out does not generate a burn-feel and leaves the skin cool without residues. CALSIL™ CL100 quick absorption by the skin reduces the oily/greasy feel and it leaves a smooth and soft feel. Improves combing and detangling of wet hair along with hair softening and repair. It shows compatibility with silicone oils, phenyl trimethicone, aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated solvents, isopropyle myristate, ethylhexyl salicylate and weak compatibility with mineral oils, organic oils and ethanol. Used in face, body, skin care, make-up products, sun care, conditioners and hair sprays.
