Dimethicone (and) Quaternium-90 Bentonite (and) Triethyl Citrate. TIXOGEL® -DMC by BYK is a fully activated rheology additive based on organophilic phyllosilicate for oil and solvent phases. It is vegan and specially designed to facilitate the development and production of D5-free formulations with improved sensoriality.
  • It provides thixotropic flow behavior and stabilizes emulsions in a wide range of solvents.
  • It is easy to use and consists of a fully activated quaternium-90 bentonite which is an organically modified bentonite dispersed in a low-viscosity dimethicone.
  • It is compatible with cold processing methods and is used to suspend pigments in color cosmetics, thicken and stabilize emulsions.
  • It offers dry, silky, and non-tacky feel to the skin.
  • TIXOGEL® -DMC enhances spreadability of creamy textures and in stick and waxy formulations, minimizes drag and improves the pour performance.
  • Recommended for creams, lotions, sunscreen products, liquid makeup, antiperspirant/deos and hair styling products.
