Bentonite. PURABYK® -R 5511 XR by BYK is a rheology additive. It is gamma irradiation sterilized version of PURABYK® -R 5511. It generates a thixotropic flow behavior in aqueous systems and provides excellent anti-settling properties. It enables the production of storage-stable formulations and facilitates their application.
- The additive is purely inorganic and stable against diluted acids and bases.
- Gels produced with it are also resistant to oxidation.
- It is compatible with anionic and nonionic surfactants as well as most emulsions and pigments.
- Recommended for use in pressed powder, blush, eye makeup, facial mask, liquid makeup and skin cleansing products.
- PURABYK® -R 5511 XR is REACH registered, vegan and Natrue approved.
