Bentonite. OPTIGEL® -CL XR by BYK is a rheology additive and gamma irradiation sterilized version of OPTIGEL®-CL. It generates a thixotropic flow behavior in aqueous systems and provides excellent anti-settling properties. It enables the production of storage-stable formulations and facilitates their application.
- It is white, purely inorganic and stable against diluted acids and bases.
- Gels produced with it are also resistant to oxidation.
- It is compatible with anionic and non-ionic surfactants and most emulsions and pigments.
- Suitable for use in sunscreen products, creams and lotions, shower gel, shampoo, facial mask, blush, antiperspirants/deo, liquid- and eye makeup.
- It is REACH registered, vegan, COSMOS and Natrue approved.
