Acts as a humectant and moisturizing agent. It is naturally fermented from carbohydrates and optimized combination of sodium lactate and sodium gluconate that boosts the natural moisturizing factor in rinse-off and leave-on personal care formulations.

• Sodium lactate helps maintain moisturized skin thanks to its ability to bind and hold moisture, while sodium gluconate is also well known for its humectant properties.
