Lactic Acid. PURAC® FCC 80 by Corbion and supplied regionally by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in Europe (except CEE South, Greece, Sweden) acts as a moisturizing agent used in many skin care products. It has a mild acid taste and has the lowest irritation potential. It is naturally present in the hair, produces a glossy, attractive appearance and is used as a pH-regulator in all kinds of hair care formulations. In anti-acne products, PURAC® FCC 80 is used for its antimicrobial action.
