Novaguard™ PG NG

Pentylene Glycol. Novaguard™ PG NG by Novaphene Specialities distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in Europe (except Greece) is a naturally derived, colorless and odorless humectant obtained from corn. It locks in skin moisture, reduces TEWL and supports mild preservation in formulations.

• It can compound preservative products, reduces allergy caused preservatives.
• It can improve the water resistance of sunscreen and provides unlimited water-solubility.
• It shows antiseptic effect and remarkable synergistic effect in combination with other antimicrobial substances.
• It is pH-independent and increases emulsion stability by 60% at application concentration of 5%.
• Novaguard™ PG NG is vegan suitable, used in skin care applications.
• It is designed for baby-, hair care, shower products, wet wipe and deodorant.
• It has a shelf life of 2 years.
