Macat® CAP-HS

Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine. Macat® CAP-HS by Pilot Chemical and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in US, Canada and Mexico is an outstanding foam stabilizer and conditioning agent. It is a 50% solids, naturally plant derived coco (C12) amidopropyl hydroxysultaine in water. It is biodegradable, solvent and VOC-free grade with very low toxicity.

• It is used in hair and body cleansers as a superior replacement for the commonly used cocamidopropyl betaine, which is found in most shampoo formulations for its mildness and effectiveness.
• It is stable in strongly acid and alkaline systems.
• Macat® CAP-HS complies with TSCA, DSL, AICS, EINECS, IECSC, NZIoC, PICCS and ASIA-PAC.
• It has a shelf life of 3 years.
