Iscaguard® PFA by ISCA UK and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in UK, Ireland and Poland is a paraben-, thiazolinone-, preservative-, & formaldehyde-free, preservative blend. This multifunctional additive possesses intrinsic antimicrobial properties. Caprylyl glycol is a humectant & skin conditioning agent which provides excellent moisturization, emollience and wetting properties. While, phenethyl alcohol imparts a pleasant floral fragrance to formulations. It allows the formulation of self-preserving products with low irritation and sensitization potential. Iscaguard® PFA is recommended for shampoo & shower gel (rinse-off), creams & lotions (leave-on), O/W- & W/O emulsions, wet wipes, eye- & lip care and children under 3.
