Iscaguard® BOA

Benzyl Alcohol (and) Dehydroacetic Acid (and) Benzoic Acid (and) Sorbic Acid. Iscaguard® BOA by ISCA UK and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in UK, Ireland and Poland is a paraben-, thiazolinone- & formaldehyde-free, preservative blend. It is a blend of organic acids in benzyl alcohol. This ingredient offers protection against bacteria, yeasts, molds and fungi. It is suitable for formulations with acidic pH. It is permitted for use with most Eco labels. Iscaguard® BOA is recommended for shampoo & shower gel (rinse-off), creams & lotions (leave-on), O/W- & W/O emulsions, wet wipes, eye-, lip- & oral care and children under 3.
