Calfoam® ES-562

Sodium Laureth Sulfate. Calfoam® ES-562 by Pilot Chemical and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in US, Canada and Mexico is an anionic surfactant. It contains an average of 2 moles of ethylene oxide. It is produced using a state-of-the-art sulfation technology. It offers excellent flash foaming characteristics, viscosity building attributes, stable foam, low air entrainment, great detergency and mildness.

• It is ethanol and solvent-free, providing a high-active product without the alcohol levels typically associated with a 60% active ingredient.
• It is perfect for environmentally friendly personal care products requiring rich and creamy lather characteristics along with mild suds that are gentle and profuse.
• It has a high active level with unique product handling characteristics, normally found in lower active chemistries, and is relatively unaffected by hard water.
• It is derived from renewable vegetable resources and is readily biodegradable.
• Calfoam® ES-562 is used in bubble bath, shampoo, shower gel, skin cleaner and hand soap.
