Calfoam® ALS-30

Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate. Calfoam® ALS-30 by Pilot Chemical and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in US, Canada and Mexico is a cost effective high foaming surfactant for excellent quality and uniform personal care products. It is a naturally derived, vegetable based, 30% active solution, produced via state-of-the-art continuous sulfation technology. It produces profuse foam, and its low level of impurities and low color gives the formulator better control over the finished product.

• It is preferred in lower pH (5-7) formulations where its dioxane-free and highly soluble nature creates long-lasting foam without the risk of clouding from inorganic salts.
• It yields a high purity, low salt content, and minimal color with a manageable viscosity at room temperature.
• It is readily biodegradable and complies with the biodegradability criteria of Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004.
• Calfoam® ALS-30 is approved for FDA, 21CFR 175.105, 175.210, 176.170, 176.180, 177.1200, 180.10019 and several 40CFR clearances.
