BIOPOL® PE

Phenoxyethanol. BIOPOL® PE by Chemipol and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care is a broad-spectrum preservative. It is used for preventing fungi, yeast & bacterial growth.

• It is a cost-effective grade and does not act as a formaldehyde releaser.
• It is effective in the vapor phase and stable in pH (up to 12) & temperature(up to 80°C).
• It is especially active against gram-positive bacteria responsible for strong body odor and sweating.
• Used for protecting personal care formulations such as emulsions, creams, lotions and gel.
• Suitable for aqueous emulsion, leave-on and rinse-off products.
• The shelf life of BIOPOL® PE is 24 months.
