BELSIL® DM 1 Plus

Dimethicone. BELSIL® DM 1 Plus by Wacker and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in North America is a non-polar, low viscosity and high volatility silicone fluid. It functions as a resin plasticizer in fixative styling products. It can be used as a delivery system in antiperspirant and deodorant formulations as well as hair-care products and color cosmetics.

• It helps to uniformly spread actives & pigments over the surface of hair and skin.
• It improves rub-in properties, reduces stickiness & imparts lubricity and a smooth skin feel.
• Offers easy spreading of high-viscosity fluids and wet combability.
• Due to its low heat of vaporization, it evaporates from the skin without producing a cooling or stinging effect.
