Disiloxane. BELSIL® DM 0.65 by Wacker and distributed by Brenntag Beauty & Personal Care in North America is a non-polar resin plasticizer for fixative styling products. It can be used as a delivery system in antiperspirant, deodorant, color cosmetics and hair-care formulations.

- It helps to uniformly spread actives and pigments over the surface of hair and skin.
- It improves rub-in properties and wet combability.
- It reduces stickiness and imparts a smooth skin feel.
- It supports easy spreading of high-viscosity fluids and has low viscosity and high volatility.
- It may be blended in all proportions with other dimethicones and cyclomethicones to adjust drying times for specific product requirements.
- Due to its low heat of vaporization, it evaporates from the skin without producing a cooling or stinging effect without residues.
- It is designed for use in conditioners, sun and skin care, make-up products and hair styling.
