Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Extract. Karmyn™ Protein by Botaneco is a native natural high molecular weight safflower storage protein plys an important role in equipping a seed for survival, maintaining hydration and preventing denaturation. It is a non-hydrolyzed, water dispersible protein which contains all essential amino acids and residual associated lipids, mainly Omega-9 fatty acids. At low pH (3.5 to 4) Karmyn™ Protein undergoes an “internal restructuring”, without loss of protein integrity, which facilitates its ability to bind to other protein substrates such as skin and hair offering protective benefits to functional natural products.
