Betaine. iMoist TMG by BIOALKEMIA is a humectant. It is a non-irritant amino acid also known as trimethyl glycine or glycine betaine. The small polar molecules of this ingredient are prone to hydrogen bonding, which in turn gives it the ability to retain moisture. It is able to give superior hydration to the skin, without the residual stickiness often associated with glycerin-based emulsions.
