Palmitoyl Pine Bark Extract. Berkemyol® MARITIME PINE by Berkem acts as an antioxidant, anti-aging active and anti-photoaging. It contains OPC palmitate of maritime pine bark, mostly catechin and oligomers as well as taxifoliol. Polyphenol and its derivatives provide protection from free radical damage and also lead to younger-looking skin by inhibiting the oxidation of intra- and extracellular components: collagen, essential fatty acids, proteins and skin & membrane lipids. Provides moisture and is used in anti-aging products, skin care and make-up care products.
