PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil. CREMOPHOR® CO 410 by BASF is an emulsifier and nonionic solubilizer. It is used to solubilize ethereal oils, perfume compositions, vitamins and hydrophobic active substances in aqueous-alcoholic and purely aqueous solutions. It is obtained by reacting hydrogenated castor oil with ethylene oxide. CREMOPHOR® CO 410 is used in cosmetic applications.
