Biowhite™

Disodium Edta (and) Sodium Sulfite (and) Sodium Metabisulfite. Biowhite™ by BASF is a lightening and brightening agent. It is a combination of plant extracts (scutellaria, white mulberry, saxifrage, and grape) with very high depigmentation effectiveness combined with powerful reducing agents (sulfites). Synergy among the plant extracts towards blocking tyrosinase, enhanced by the action of sulfites, makes this ingredient one of the most active substances on the market. Totally safe, it is a very stable transparent solution, easy to use in all types of formulas (pH>6.5) and compatible with VCPMg (magnesium ascorbyl phosphate). Biowhite™ is used in skin lightening cosmetic products.
