Phenoxyethanol (and) Methylparaben (and) Ethylparaben (and) Caprylyl Glycol. liquapar™ me preservative by Ashland Specialty Chemical acts as a preservative. It delivers efficient antimicrobial power to a wide variety of personal care products. Balanced, synergistic and boasting broad-spectrum protection, it is compatible with many other cosmetic ingredients. Provides similar efficiency to traditional paraben combinations. Effective over broad pH range: 3.0-7.5. liquapar™ me preservative is suggested for use in hair care (conditioners, gels, mousses, novel stylers, shampoos, styling lotions/creams), skin care (body care, color cosmetics, face and body washes, facial care, and wipes) and sun care (after-sun, self-tanning, and sunscreen) applications. It is effective at low doses and can also be used to bolster other preservatives.
