Phenoxyethanol (and) Ethylhexylglycerin. euxyl™ pe 9010 preservative by Ashland is a liquid cosmetic preservative. It has a broad, balanced spectrum of effects against bacteria, yeast, mold and fungi. Product benefits of the patented, stabilized blend include a strong broad-spectrum efficacy.

• It is a mild liquid blend that is an ideal solution for transparent gels and is stable to hydrolysis, temperature and pH.
• It contains 90% active substance in the ingredient while ethylhexyl glycerin (10%) is added to modify the interfacial tension at the cell membrane of microorganisms thereby improving the preservative activity of phenoxyethanol.
• euxyl™ pe 9010 preservative is suitable for leave-on, rinse-off, wet wipes and sensitive applications.
