Phenoxyethanol (and) Benzoic Acid (and) Dehydroacetic Acid (and) Ethylhexylglycerin. euxyl™ k 701 preservative by Ashland is a liquid-preservative. It has a broad, balanced spectrum of effects against bacteria, yeasts & mold fungi and good vapor phase effectiveness. It is a typically biostatic product with the biocidal properties necessary for practical use. It is developed for use in cosmetic formulations with a skin-friendly pH value of 3 to 6. It is fully effective in anionic, cationic and non-ionic systems. euxyl™ k 701 preservative finds application in leave-on (creams & lotions) as well as rinse-off products (shampoos, bath preparations) and wet wipes.
