Methylchloroisothiazolinone (and) Methylisothiazolinone. Isocil® PC by Arxada acts as a preservative and bacteriostatic/ fungistatic agent. Used in rinse-off formulations including shampoos, conditioners, shower gels, bubble baths and hand soaps. It can also be used to preserve personal care surfactants and other ingredient blends. Its MI/MCI components are listed in the E.E.C. definitive list for preservatives (maximum use level is 15 ppm active ingredient). Isocil® PC is listed in C.T.F.A and C.C.T.F.A regulatory bodies.
