VP/VA Copolymer. Vida-Care™ C VA64P by Alfa chemicals acts as a film former and fixative. It is a linear, random, non-ionic copolymer of 60:40 vinylpyrrolidone and vinyl acetate. It forms hydrophilic, transparent, flexible, thermoplastic and oxygen-permeable films which adhere to many different surfaces. Hence, it has increased water solubility capacity and adhesive strength.
  • The relatively high VA content enhances cohesive strength, improves humidity resistance and flexibility, reduces water solubility and provides a less 'crunchy' texture.
  • Low viscosity makes it suitable for sprayable applications.
  • It is recommended for all types of hair styling applications including aerosol, aqueous and anhydrous creams, putties, gels, powders.
  • It is used in face masks for both rinse-off & peel-off, and pigmented products to improve adhesion to skin & hair.
  • It is applicable where a smooth, clear, oxygen permeable and water-removable film is required.
  • Vida-Care™ C VA64P complies with Cosmetics Regulation [EC] No. 1223/2009.
  • It has a shelf life of 36 months.
