DMDM Hydantoin (and) Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate. Kemidant Plus by Akema is a preservative blend. Synergistic combination with broad spectrum activity and high antimicrobial efficacy is suitable for the protection of a large variety of cosmetics in a wide pH range. It represents an effective alternative to paraben-based system at low levels. It is highly effective against gram-negative bacteria, gram-positive bacteria, yeasts and molds. Kemidant Plus is soluble in alcohol and glycols and insoluble in water. It is approved for use in EU*, US, ASEAN*, China**, Latam*.(*except in children under 3 years, not for lip or oral care products, **except in oral & lip care products)
