DMDM Hydantoin, Aqua, Butylene Glycol and Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate. Kemidant L Plus by Akema is an easy to work liquid preservative that ensures complete protection at low use levels. It is a powerful broad-spectrum system without parabens. It increases safety and reduces the regulatory requirements due to low content of free-formaldehyde. It is an extremely versatile system with no effects on color, odor & viscosity.

• It is internationally approved for use in rinse-off products.
• It is a synergistic combination of the bactericide with the fungicide dissolved in a hydro-glycolic solution.
• It provides the maximum antimicrobial activity and is effective against Gram negative and positive bacteria, yeasts and molds.
• It is resistant to discoloration and stable under freezing storage conditions, with no issues of crystallization.
• Itis suitable for a wide range of products including hair items such as shampoos and conditioners, body and face products like tonics, lotions, makeup such as foundations, eye shadows, and mascaras.
• It is also used in shaving products including gels, soaps, and aftershave balms, bath products like shower gels, bubble baths, and oils, baby care items including shower gels, as well as surfactants in raw materials.
• It can be used at concentrations of 0.1-0.5% on its own, with 0.5-0.6% recommended for more complex formulations prone to higher microbial contamination.
• Kemidant L Plus maximum recommended use level is 0.85% with cost-effective pricing.
• Approved for use in leave-on products, but not for application on large areas of the body or for children under 3 years (labeling required).
• It is approved in EU, ASEAN, USA (in rinse-off & leave-on products not to be aerosolized), Japan (up to 0.4% in rinse-off products not to be aerosolized with warning label).
