Kemaben 2ME

Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben and Ethylparaben. Kemaben 2ME by Akema is a long used preservative. It shows broad spectrum activity and helps to boost antibacterial and antifungals preservative action. It is a variant of Kemaben 2 that contains shortest chain parabens. It is used for the protection of a wide variety of personal care products. It is highly effective against Gram-negative and positive bacteria, yeasts and molds.

• Its antimicrobial activity remains unaffected by pH levels.
• In rinse off cosmetics it can be used at 0.4-0.8% and 0.6-1.2% in emulsions.
• It is designed for shampoos, lotions, conditioners, gels, mousses, serums, tonics, wipes, foundations, eyeliners, eyeshadows, mascaras, powders, shave soaps, aftershave balms, creams.

• Kemaben 2ME is approved by FDA & EU scientific committees in EU, USA, Latin America, China & ASEAN up to 1.5% without usage area and product category restrictions. It is not permitted in Japan.
