Kem 30

Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate. Kem 30 by Akema acts as a preservative. It is a 50% water solution of sodium hydroxymethylglycinate. It is a wide spectrum preservative stable to strong alkaline pH. It is highly effective against gram-negative bacteria, gram-positive bacteria, yeasts and molds. It is soluble in water and polar solvents, insoluble in oils and non-polar solvents. Due to its high water solubility, it is suggested for aq. formulations and emulsions. Useful in the neutralization of carbomer gels. Kem 30 is used in hair care( gels, shampoos, lotions, conditioners, mousses), body and face care (serums, tonics, gels, lotions, creams, wipes), make-up (foundations, wipes, powders), sun products (sunscreens, suntans, aftersuns), bath products (shower gels, bubble baths, handcleaners, intimate, oils, powders, wipes), baby care (shampoos, bath products, lotions, creams, oils, powders, wipes) and raw materials (surfactant, vegetal extracts).
