Homosalate. Aegivita HMS by Aegis is an UV-B filter with SPF-enhancing properties. It is an excellent solubilizer for crystalline UV absorbers such as avobenzone or ethylhexyl triazone. It is used in sun-care and cosmetic preparations. It integrates easily into the oil phase of sunscreen formulations. Aegivita HMS works with a wide range of solid filters.
