Cosmetics & Personal Care Formulations with Substantivity Agents

This conditioner has been formulated as a daily use conditioner for normal hair. Two conditioning agents have been added to impart softness and body to the hair. It is easily rinsed leaving little build-up. The METHOCEL* cellulose ethers adds viscosity, and acts as a film former assisting conditioning agents to adhere to the hair shaft. METHOCEL is substantive to the hair allowing for easy comb through wet hair.

This intense anti-frizz serum features Gransil 314. Gransil 314 provides an exceptionally silky feel and prolonged substantivity, leaving a soft film on skin to protect the skin moisture barrier.

A soothing after-sun moisturizer containing Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil; Ethylene/Propylene/Styrene Copolymer ; Butylene/Ethylene/Styrene Copolymer and Jojoba Wax PEG-120 Esters. Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil; Ethylene/Propylene/Styrene Copolymer ; Butylene/Ethylene/Styrene Copolymer provides substantive moisturization to the skin. Jojoba Wax PEG-120 Esters is a secondary emulsifying agent that enhances the emollient skin feel.

This highly substantive formulation provides excellent wet comb, lubricity, builds body for limp hair and leaves a soft after-feel. ARLASILK PLN acts as a unique formulation aid by emulsifying the silicones and removing the need for homogenization. ARLASILK SV functions as a novel silicone deposition aid.

Oil-in-Water skin cream with anti-aging benefits

Crystal-clear solution designed to remove eye makeup without leaving an oily residue. Glucamate SSE-20 and Glucamate DOE-120 and the surfactant work gently to dissolve makeup. Glucam P-10, a water soluble emollient, and BIOCARE™ Polymer BHA-10, a substantive humectant, leave the delicate tissue around the eye moisturized and conditioned. Suitable to use with pads.

Oil-free, clear, conditioning eye gel containing a patented complex, Polyquaternium-10 and Hyaluronic Acid, which makes the hyaluronic acid substantive to skin, leaving a silky, non-greasy afterfeel.

This sunscreen formula contains a Floraesters K-20W with glycerin combination which has been shown to provide extended moisturization.

This is a hot-pour demo formula with SPF~15 for Gransil MLB, Granpowder T-35, Granpowder Z-35, Gransil EP-LS, Gransil EPSQ and Gransil 530. Gransil 530 provides an exceptionally silky feel and prolonged substantivity, and leaves a soft film on skin to protect the skin moisture. Gransil EP-LS provides a matte appearance on skin, oil thickening, cushioning, and cost-performance properties.

This product is specially formulated to reduce scalp damage and hair breakage, while chemically straightening the hair. Floraesters K-100 Jojoba is a botanically-derived substantive ingredient which, when combined with glycerin, helps to hold moisture in the hair. The combination of Floraesters 20 Jojoba and Floraesters 30 provides emolliency and occlusivity that protects the hair from breakage and reduces the damaging effect of relaxer actives on the scalp while leaving the hair smooth, soft, and silky. (Base should be used in combination with the Activator prior to hair application. The weight use ratio of Base to Activator is 3:1.)
