Solvents
Category overviewSolvents and carriers are typically clear, low-viscosity liquids. They enhance product stability and texture, commonly used in serums, sprays, and emulsions.
Popular INCI ingredients in this segment include Ethanol, Propylene glycol, and Isododecane. Trends lean toward biodegradable and non-irritating carriers. Sub-types include volatile carriers for quick-dry formulas and emollient solvents for hydration. Regulations ensure compatibility with skin and active ingredients.
