Cosmetics & Personal Care Formulations with Emulsifiers

It is a waterdrop emulsion, a water in oil formulation, with a high percentage of water that is delivered on the skin upon application. It provides moisture, a comfortable application, and an immediate whitening effect.

Refreshing Emulsion for Deodorant Body Wipe is a starting point formula for fresh deodorant wipes designed to be a convenient and easy way to wipe away the stress after a hectic day, anywhere and anytime. Glucate™ DO Emulsifier works as a co-emulsifier in combination with coco-glucoside, while Carbopol® Ultrez 20 Polymer stabilizes the emulsion. A Lubrizol formulation.

Light Sun Cream SPF 50 with PBSA is a light sun cream using Carbopol® Aqua SF-1 OS polymer for excellent emulsion stability and good electrolyte tolerance. The cream has good rub-in characteristics and a light skin feel. In combination with Glucamate™ SSE-20 and Glucate™ SS mild emulsifiers, Carbopol® Aqua SF-1 OS polymer provides best-in-class co-stabilization of this high oil phase oil-in-water emulsion with 3% of an electrolytic water-soluble UV filter, Phenyl Benzimidazole Sulfonic Acid (PBSA), for long term stability. Schercemol™ DIS ester efficiently solubilizes the organic UV filters while Schercemol™ CATC ester offers a non-tacky and comfortable afterfeel. A formulation by Lubrizol.

Self emulsifing Cetearyl Alcohol, PEG 40 Castor Oil, Stearalkonium Chloride contributes conditioning properties, with Lauryl Laurate contributing silky skin feel.

Moisturizing Foundation SPF 15 has smoothing properties. It contains:

• Lameform^® TGI which is used as W/O emulsifier for the production of cosmetic emulsions. 
• Cetiol^® A which is used as a fast spreading emollient for W/O formulations and water-free applications.

Satiny ZnO Sun Lotion (SPF 30) is a non-greasy, non-sticky, and easy-to-spread broad spectrum SPF 30 sun lotion with 80 minute water resistance for effective UV protection. Avalure™ Flex-6 polymer acts as the sole O/W emulsifier and primary thickener providing efficient and robust stabilization. This non-ionic polymer is compatible with metal oxides (ZnO), while G-66 Guerbet ester functions as the inorganic pigment dispersant for a uniform distribution of the inorganic UV filters. Matmarine™ Blue Ingredient reduces sebum levels to minimize imperfections such as spots, enlarged pores, and acne. A formulation by Lubrizol.

An O/W facial emulsion ideal for daily wear. CRODAMOL™ GTEH provides good moisturization benefits, reduces tack and imparts a light, elegant skin feel. CRODAMOL PTIS delivers a rich, lubricious feel and enhances skin elasticity. ARLATONE™ MAP 160K is an O/W emulsifier with a silky, powdery after feel. ARLASILK™ SV is designed to provide moisturization through polar lipid replacement and acts as a co-emulsifier.

This sunscreen lotion provides long-lasting UV protection. Both Avalure™* UR 450 Polymer and Pemulen®* TR-2 Polymer deliver optimal water-resistant properties.Avobenzone, an UVA absorber, is included in this formulation. Schercemol™* 1688 Ester mitigates the oily feel of the various UV absorbers, while SilSense™* Copolyol-1 Silicone, a water soluble silicone, improves skin feel and detackifies the formulation. Carbopol®* Ultrez 21 Polymer delivers easy, efficient thickening and emulsion stabilization with a smooth, non-tacky afterfeel. Promulgen™* D Emulsifier, a highly cost effective non-ionic emulsifier, acts as an emulsion stabilizer and viscosity builder.
