Spearheaded by Syensqo's Renewable Materials and Biotechnology Platform and their Beauty Business Unit, the collaboration will focus on developing high-performance biomimetic ingredients, drawing on Syensqo's 40 years of expertise in hair care and growing emphasis on scalp care, with dedicated application development to accelerate market-ready solutions.

The partnership originated with and was supported by Syensqo Ventures, the Group's function dedicated to accelerating innovation by identifying and collaborating with emerging startups. Syensqo Ventures and Bota Bio share a common view that transitioning cutting-edge technologies into sustainable applications requires partnerships across the value chain and between corporations and startups alike.
