Origin

Myristamine Oxide comes from myristic acid, which is derived from natural sources like coconut oil, palm kernel oil, or nutmeg oil. Myristic acid is first converted to myristylamine by reacting it with ammonia. The resulting myristylamine is treated with hydrogen peroxide to form Myristamine Oxide. The chemical formula of Myristamine Oxide is C₁₆H₃₅NO.
