Jojoba Alcohol and mixture of Jojoba Oil and Hydrogenated Jojoba Oil were not mutagenic in bacterial assays. Tests of topical products containing Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil found them to be nonirritants and nonsensitizers to humans.
