This new Cationic Carnauba Milk is a dispersion of Carnauba Wax 5030 #195 and Behentrimonium Chloride in water.
The addition of the quaternary ammonium compound provides this film-forming milk with a cationic nature, rendering it substantive to the hair and making it a unique cold process ingredient ideal in hair care formulations.
In a controlled laboratory study on human hair mannequin heads, the addition of Cationic Carnauba Milk to the formula visibly improved hair shine, both in bleached hair as well as virgin.
