Chroma-chem® UCD® 6580PS by Vibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo) is diketopyrrolo pyrrole pigment dispersion for silicone-based coatings. It uses a dry pigment milled in a low-molecular-weight methoxy-functional silicone intermediate with closely controlled color strength and viscosity to permit reproducible color matches by volumetric machine dispensers or weight measurement in the plant. It is compatible with all baking and ambient temperature cured coatings. The use of Chroma-chem® UCD® 6580PS reduces the amount of color float, shows no bleed or discoloration. The tint strength of this colorant is controlled by volume to ±2% to ensure optimal tinting performance in volumetric dispensing equipment. It is used in reactive formulations based on alkyds, epoxies, polyesters, and hydroxyl-functional acrylics and shows broad compatibility with most aromatic solvents, ketones, esters, chlorinated solvents, and glycol ethers. It exhibits light fastness as well as acid- and alkali resistance. It is formulated for use in high-end industrial coatings including, but not limited to, industrial maintenance, marine, and protective coatings. The shelf life is 3 years.
Chroma-chem® UCD® 8443Q by Vibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo) is quinacridone violet pigment dispersion, based on 2-butoxyethanol and alkali-soluble acrylic resin. It provides excellent grind, high gloss and in-can stability. It shows no bleed acid/alkali pigment resistance but slight base & tinted lightfastness. It offers low VOC level, rheological characteristics and extraordinary stability to the colorant (resistance to flocculation, settling and syneresis). It is compatible with coating systems based on acrylic, acrylic/PVA emulsions, water reducible polyester/epoxy, water-soluble alkyd and urethane. Chroma-chem® UCD® 8443Q is used in alkaline water-based coatings including automotive interior OEM, industrial maintenance, marine, wood and protective coatings. It has a shelf-life of 3 years.
Chroma-chem® UCD® 5891V by Vibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo) is a transparent red iron oxide pigment dispersion. The colorant vehicle consists of a low-molecular-weight acrylic resin dissolved in propylene glycol monomethyl ether (PM) acetate. The tinting strength of this colorant is controlled to ±2% of the standard. The low molecular weight of its vehicle i.e. non-functional methacrylate polymer helps to ensure full development of pigment strength while providing a rheological profile suited to automated dispensers. It exhibits light fastness as well as acid- and alkali resistance. It is compatible with most coating systems based on acrylic, nitrocellulose, alkyd, polyester, epoxy, epoxy ester, alkyd urea, alkyd melamine, urethane, polyester isocyanate and vinyl. It is also compatible with most aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, ethers, ketones, and reactive diluents. It is thixotropic, which makes it resistant to separation by settling or syneresis. It is suitable for solvent-borne coatings. Chroma-chem® UCD® 5891V is used in automotive OEM, concrete protection, general industrial finishes, marine and protective coatings. It has a shelf life of 3 years.
Chroma-chem® UCD® 6004PS by Vibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo) is benzimidazolone orange pigment dispersion for silicone-based coatings. It provides a broad color spectrum in colorless, unsaturated and low molecular weight polyester resin containing no solvents or reactive monomers. The tint strength of this grade is controlled by volume ±2% to ensure optimal tinting performance in volumetric dispensing equipment. It shows excellent acid & alkali fastness, and slight lightfastness. Recommended for concrete protection, gel coats, automotive putties, reactive industrial-, coil-, UV-, and wood coating applications. The shelf life of Chroma-chem® UCD® 8087SF is 5 years.
Chroma-chem® UCD® 5643PS by Vibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo) is yellow bismuth vanadate pigment dispersion for silicone-based coatings. It is formulated for use in high-end industrial coatings including, but not limited to, industrial maintenance, marine, and protective coatings. It exhibits grind, high gloss, transparency (organics), high tinting strength value and no bleed or discoloration. It meets the conditions for pigmented, low volatile organic compound (VOC) polyurethanes to replace low-solids thermoplastic acrylics in applications where exterior durability or chemical resistance of the coatings is required. Chroma-chem® UCD® 1530E by Vibrantz Technologies (formerly Chromaflo) is a jet carbon black pigment dispersion. It consists of a low-molecular-weight, automotive type, alkali-soluble acrylic resin dissolved in water that provides excellent pigment wetting. It provides excellent performance through the ease of incorporation and resistance to flooding/floating as well as flocculation. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;">
<li>It exhibits improved water resistance, block resistance and excellent color control for in-plant tinting of architectural coatings. </li>
