Pyrax® ABB by Vanderbilt Minerals is a hydrated aluminum silicate mineral. It acts as a filler and contributes to film reinforcement. Pyrax® ABB can be used in interior primers and coatings where high brightness is not required. Pyrax® WA by Vanderbilt Minerals is hydrated aluminium silicate, pyrophyllite. Imparts "mud cracking" resistance to high-build coatings such as texture paints, block fillers, crack fillers and joint cement. Hydrated aluminium silicate. Used as an inert filler in coatings. Imparts "mud-cracking" resistance in coatings.
