ACTICIDE® LA 1209

ACTICIDE® LA 1209 by Thor is a formaldehyde free industrial microbiocide, algicide and fungicide. It is a mixture of 5–chloro–2–methyl–4–isothiazolin–3–one (0.85%) and 2–methyl–4–isothiazolin–3–one (0.28%) and 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1, 3-diol (8.80%). It is cost effective and shows broad spectrum activity. It is suitable for flexographic, gravure, screen and printing inks. ACTICIDE® LA 1209 is used in electrodeposition paints, architectural finishes, paper and wood coatings. The recommended dosage for inks is 0.1-1.0% on a total weight basis, 320-2400 ppm for electrodeposition paints and 5.5-660 ppm.

ACTICIDE® 14

ACTICIDE® 14 by Thor is a concentrated, solvent-free biocide developed for the microbial protection of water-based products against bacterial and fungal spoilage in the wet state. Used in architectural finishes and paper coatings. Also used in flexographic, gravure, screen and printing inks. ACTICIDE® 14 is recommended at a dosage rate of 0.2-0.8 % for inks, 35-245 ppm for electrodeposition paints and 48 ppm for wood coatings.
