ACTICIDE® LA 1209 by Thor is a formaldehyde free industrial microbiocide, algicide and fungicide. It is a mixture of 5–chloro–2–methyl–4–isothiazolin–3–one (0.85%) and 2–methyl–4–isothiazolin–3–one (0.28%) and 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1, 3-diol (8.80%). It is cost effective and shows broad spectrum activity. It is suitable for flexographic, gravure, screen and printing inks. ACTICIDE® LA 1209 is used in electrodeposition paints, architectural finishes, paper and wood coatings. The recommended dosage for inks is 0.1-1.0% on a total weight basis, 320-2400 ppm for electrodeposition paints and 5.5-660 ppm. ACTICIDE® OTA 20 by Thor is a novel fungicide based on AMME™ OIT. It offers protection from fungal growth. It is suitable for aqueous based coatings. ACTICIDE® 14 by Thor is a concentrated, solvent-free biocide developed for the microbial protection of water-based products against bacterial and fungal spoilage in the wet state. Used in architectural finishes and paper coatings. Also used in flexographic, gravure, screen and printing inks. ACTICIDE® 14 is recommended at a dosage rate of 0.2-0.8 % for inks, 35-245 ppm for electrodeposition paints and 48 ppm for wood coatings. ACTICIDE® IPW 50 by Thor is 50% water-borne IPBC. Designed for fungicidal protection of water-based products in both the dry film and wet state. ACTICIDE® IPW 50 is used in wood coatings, as an anti-sap stain and general wood preservative. ACTICIDE® OTW 45 by Thor is a water-based dispersion, 2-n-Octyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (46.5%). Acts as an industrial microbiocide, algicide and fungicide. It controls the growth of bacteria and fungi. It provides wet state and dry film fungicidal preservation. Used in oil-based paints and wood coatings. The recommended dosage level of ACTICIDE® OTW 45 is 0.02-0.29 % for wood coatings. ACTICIDE® IPS 20 by Thor is a fungicide. It is 3-Iodo-2-Propynyl butyl carbamate (20%). It controls the fungal growth in both the wet state and dry film of the finished product. ACTICIDE® IPS 20 is used in solvent and aqueous paints and coatings, wood stains, aqueous-based inks, plastic and paper coatings. The recommended dosage level is 0.1-1.5% for paper coatings, 0.5-5.0% for plastic coatings, 0.05-1.5% for inks, 0.2-1.0% for interior coatings (including stains) and 0.5-2.5% for exterior coatings (including stains). ACTICIDE® L 30 by Thor acts as a microbiocide, algicide and fungicide. It controls slime-forming, spoilage, odor-causing and corrosion-inducing bacteria and algae. Used in printing inks and coatings. Recommended dosage level of ACTICIDE® L 30 is 0.03-0.2% for printing inks and 0.33-1.67% for paints & coatings. ACTICIDE® EP PASTE by Thor is benzimidazole carbamate/OIT/urea derivative. It protects interior and exterior liquid coatings from surface fungal and algal growth. ACTICIDE® EP PASTE is used as a biocide for a wide range of liquid coatings, paints and inks. ACTICIDE® BAC 50 by Thor functions as an algaecide and fungicide. It is based on 50% benzalkonium chloride. It is designed for general wood coatings.<br>
