Uvitex® OB by Sun Chemical (DIC) is a fluorescent whitening agent. It provides brilliant bluish whitening effects, excellent heat resistance, high chemical stability, good compatibility in a wide range of resins. It is used in white and pastel tone paints, clear coats and overprint varnishes, primer and/or topcoats. Recommended usage level of Uvitex® OB is 0.02-0.1% for clear coatings and overprint varnishes, 2.0-4.0% for marker in primers and 0.5-5.0% for white pigmented systems. Uvitex® NFW LIQUID by Sun Chemical (DIC) is a 4,4'-Bis (2-sulfostyryl)-biphenyl disodium salt. It is used as a fluorescent whitening agent for water-borne white and pastel tone paints, clear coats and overprint varnishes. Uvitex® NFW LIQUID provides brilliant bluish whitening effects and good compatibility in a wide range of resins.
